Perkins

Papiers Perkins ltée, «Perkins» dont les origines remontent à 1930, constitue le plus important fabricant et transformateur de papiers tissu au Québec, le second au Canada et le huitième en Amérique du Nord.

La Société réunit un réseau de cinq usines spécialisées et complémentaires, dont quatre sont situées au Québec et une en Caroline du Nord. Ce réseau exploite sept machines à papier d'une capacité annuelle totale de 232 000 tonnes courtes, dont une grande proportion est transformée en produits finis et semi-finis par les 40 unités de transformation de la Société. Le reste de sa production est vendu sous forme de bobines géantes à des transformateurs nord-américains. Un pionnier et un leader dans ce domaine, Perkins fabrique principalement du papier tissu fait à partir de fibres recyclées et regroupe à cette fin trois unités de désencrage ultramodernes.

Perkins Papers Ltd

Founded in 1930, Perkins Papers Ltd. ("Perkins") is the leading manufacturer and converter of tissue paper in Quebec, the second largest in Canada and the eighth largest in North America.

The Corporation has a network of five specialized and complementary mills, four in Quebec and one in North Carolina. This network operates seven paper machines with a total annual capacity of 200,000 short tons, a large proportion of which is processed into finished and semi-finished products by the Corporation's 45 converting units.

Perkins sells its finished and semi-finished products in Canada and the United States to the commercial and industrial markets as well as the consumer market. Its lines of bathroom tissue, paper towels, paper hand towels, facial tissue, paper napkins and other related products are sold under private labels or its own brand names. The Corporation's brands include "Cascades" and "Doucelle" in the retail sector, as well as "North River", "Heritage" and "Perkins" in the commercial and industrial markets.
